Its been a while, but today I finally made some updates. A whole week without any updates...that's sorta unusual for this site. Today I added four cursor sets, of Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Amber. In total, I believe 40 cursors were added today. The cursor sets were created by starfire. Check out the deviantart page for another cool cursor set, that will probably be added to the site next week.

I think these are really lovely cursor sets. You guys should definately try them out. Even though none are animated. We now got a total of 86 cursor sets. Should reach 100 by the end of the month. The cursors went into the following sections below...

4/1/2013 - CURSORMANIA IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS

Hello, this a review of the program by Mindsparks Interactive, called CursorMania or Cursor Mania. If you have been searching for cursors, you probably came across this program. The program is part of a line of products that installs a toolbar called MyWebSearch. There have been many questions regarding the safety of this product but today I will ignore all that and review the product only. My next post will dwell into the spyware, adware, malware, virus aspect.

For this tutorial/guide/review I have installed a fresh couple of CursorMania. So everything that I show is the current version of the program.

Installation

During the install process it will ask you if you want to make MyWebSearch, the default search engine, as well as the homepage. Also it will ask you to install Norton Internet Securities. That is up to you what you want to do.

So when you install CursorMania, you should get a new toolbar on your Browser. I believe CursorMania works on Mozilla and Firefox only. The toolbar looks something like this...

Along with Cursor Mania you also get Smiley Central, Screensaves, and MyFunCards. One other thing to note, is that along with the toolbar that is installed, you will also get some new startup items during the Windows boot. These items as they appear on msconfig are...m3SrchMn, and mwsoemon. I do not know what these processes do, but from installing toolbars of other products in the pass, none of them have installed any thing else in the Windows StartUp.

This is a really interesting cursor set, that we just added today. It's basically a Shark, doing it's thang...you know...trying to eat your guts! The cursor was originally created for CursorFX by RadialFX. Mad props to him, because this is a crazy good set. I'm not really sure if CursorFX is a free or paid program because there is a lot of unique cursors that people have made for it.

I think I might create a cursorFX section for our site once I test out the program to see what type of features it has, and if it's free or not. For now the cursors went into the following sections...

Just added 39 Random Cursors submitted to us, from various people from around the world! Thank you everyone, for all your submissions. Though they should have been added a long time ago, I didn't get a chance too.

Today's addition included Domo, Mouse Pointers, Naruto, Zelda, Animals, Cats, Anime, Halo, Space, Homer Simpson, Evil Monkey, Cute Cursors, and many many more. Just go to our "newest" cursor section to get a full preview of what was added today.

I'm still taking requests for cursors on our facebook page. Someone requested Hey! Say! Jump! cursors, and I should have those tomorrow. If you want a cursor request, just like our page, and leave a comment!

Just added Domo, Lucky Clover, and Tecno Laguna cursor sets. The Domo cursor is created by xxomgwtflolxx, the Lucky Clover was created by Shiiba Etsuko and Tecno Laguna created the set themselves. Lucky Clover and Tecno Laguna was submitted to us which is nice =D Feel free to keep submitting more cursors to our growing site. BTW last week we passed up 9000 cursors. Going for 10,000 by the end of the month! Remember this year my personal goal is 13,000 cursors.

O_O This could be the most amazing, most spectacular, most antagonizing cursor set ever created! Just added today, and already piling up a bunch of views before I can even post this message, the "Lights Of Heaven" set is truly unique. Originally created for CursorXP, the author ChaoMoth did a superb job. I never seen such a unique cursor set such as this. *Gravels at ChaoMoth's feet.* The other amazing thing is, he gots 3 more sets similar to these ones. So you gotta check out his profile.

Also I have chosen this Cursor Set to be the Favorite Cursor Of The Month, for February 2011. This is the first time that we added a cursor and it was instantly the favorite of the month. The cursors went into the following sections...

Hi all, I have switched hosts from Burst and now with a company called Superb. I went with them because they offer 4x the bandwidth that Burst does and I have a feeling we will be needing more bandwidth. Also the server is a bit more powerful as well. Because I switched host, I had to change the DNS records which means that I'm not sure how long it will take for the updates to propagate throughout the internet. So I will not be doing any updates for a few days.

If the site images and cursors do not load, that is the reason why. Just be patient and hopefully everything is working 100% correctly. Thanks =D

Edit. 8AM PST 2/1/2011 - Everything appears to be working correctly. Server is working fine. Some people are still not getting the new content however you should soon! Thanks for your support. And hopefully everything is delivered faster on our new dedicated server!

Our Harry Potter Golden Snitch cursor has become Cursors-4U's first cursor with 1,000,000 views! How is this possible? I have no idea. It's getting like 10k views everyday. It seems to be the most popular cursor in the world right now! In a distant, and I mean distant 2nd is the Cool blue outer Glow cursor. I'm not sure how the Golden Snitch has gotten such a huge lead like that. But remember that we only been tracking views for only 2 years. In actuality these cursors have at least double what they should have.

You can get Harry Potter cursors at our site as well. The Golden snitch icon was created by Iconka. And oh yeah...can't wait for the last Harry Potter movie part 2. Gonna be fun.

TheRocaN64 is on a row and has submitted two more cursors for us. This time, he created cursor sets of Boo and Thwomp from the Mario game series.
